The
Piave, the river sacred to the Motherland, is particularly known in Italy for the battles that took place there during the Great War. Starting 40/50 km from the mouth and stretching almost until the sea there is a particular soil, that of the “grave” (gravelly flood plain), made up of stones and fertile earth forming a humus that is unique in the world for the production of great red wines.
The majestic Dolomites form a backdrop to the north while closer to hand there are the gentle hills of the eastern Veneto, abounding in history and with a millenary vine-growing and wine-producing tradition, covered by vast areas of vineyards broken up by picturesque villages.

The beautiful landscape shows rows of lovingly tended Prosecco vines that follow the natural slopes and the terraces manually constructed by the countrymen in bygone days.
The superior red grape marc comes from the Grave of the river Piave and mixed with small quantities of Prosecco grape marc from the hills, give rise to Torbarossa. A product that incorporates everything the earth, the mountain air mixed with sea breezes and the sun have slowly bestowed on the bunch of grapes.
A natural resource that allows the master distiller to achieve excellence. Wholesome nature gives an excellent grappa.
