Torbarossa is a very special grappa obtained from selected red grape marc and small quantities of white grape marc smoked with peat. Grappa is the eau de vie obtained from distilling grape marc and is by tradition, culture and law an exclusively Italian product. Its highly distinctive character is due to the fact that it comes from the external part of the grape, the part of the vine where most of the aromatic substances are accumulated.
